1. What happens when a ticket type sells out
Once a ticket type reaches its quantity or the event's overall capacity, the public event
page shows a waitlist form instead of a checkout button.
2. Automatic offers
When a place frees up — a refund, a cancelled ticket, an expired pending order — the next
person waiting for that ticket type is offered it automatically. The offer holds the place
for 24 hours and emails a claim link.
3. Claiming an offer
Claiming converts the offer straight into a pending order, without checking capacity
again — the place was already reserved the moment the offer was made.
4. If an offer lapses
An unclaimed offer lapses after 24 hours. Its place is released and offered to the next
person on the list.
5. Manual offers
From the event's waitlist page, owners and managers can also Offer now to jump a
specific entry to the front, rather than waiting for the automatic queue.
