1. If the organiser cancels the event
You're refunded in full automatically — the ticket price and the booking fee both come
back to your card.
2. If you can't go, and self-service refunds are enabled
Some organisers switch on self-service refunds for their event. Where that's enabled, your
manage-tickets page lets you request a refund yourself before the event starts. You get
the ticket price back; the booking fee is kept, since it already covers card processing
that's already happened.
3. If self-service refunds aren't enabled
A refund is up to the organiser — contact them directly using the details on the event
page.
4. Add-ons and donations
Self-service refunds only ever cover tickets. If you also bought an item or made a
donation, ask the organiser directly to refund those.
5. Disputes
If you raise a dispute with your card issuer instead of requesting a refund, the outcome
is decided by your card issuer, not TicketKind.
6. The small print
Tickets for a leisure event on a specific date are exempt from the usual 14-day
cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations — see the
buyer terms for the full detail.
