A "pairs" or "family" ticket is just a ticket type that admits more than one person — there's
nothing special about the event itself.
1. Set how many people a ticket type admits
On a ticket type, set Admits above 1 — for example, 2 for a pair ticket. Event capacity
is counted in people (quantity × admits), while the ticket type's own quantity still counts
tickets.
2. Choose whether you collect attendee names
Per event, the Attendee names field offers:
- Don't collect attendee names
- One name per order
- One name per person admitted
Under the last option, five standard tickets need five names, and one pair ticket needs two.
3. What buyers see at checkout
Checkout asks for exactly the names your event requires — no more, no fewer.
4. What the ticket and check-in show
There's still one QR code per ticket, whatever it admits. Scanning it at the door admits
everyone on it at once, and check-in shows every name it carries, for example "Admits 2:
Sam Jones & Alex Lee".
5. Where attendee names appear
Transfer, the confirmation email, the buyer's manage page, the attendee CSV export and the
check-in lookup all show the names collected against each ticket.
