1. Add a question
From an event, scroll to Checkout questions and choose Add question. Give it a
label, and optionally limit it to one ticket type — otherwise it applies to all of them.
2. Choose when it's asked
Asked is either Once per order or Once per attendee — the second repeats the
question for every person a ticket admits, not just one per order.
3. Choose the answer type
Answer type is one of: Short text, Long text, Single choice, Multiple choice, or
Checkbox. Choice types need at least one option, entered one per line.
4. Make it required, or show it at the door
Tick Required to stop checkout without an answer. Tick Show the answer at check-in
to have it appear in the check-in lookup for door staff — useful for things like dietary
requirements or a car registration.
5. Where answers show up
Buyers see your questions under "A few more questions" on the checkout page. Answers
appear on the order detail page, as their own column in the attendee CSV export (headed
with the question's own text), and — for anything flagged to show at the door — in the
check-in lookup.
6. Editing or removing a question
Editing a question changes it for future orders only. Deleting one never touches answers
already recorded — they keep a snapshot of the question text they were asked under.
